From Classroom to Digital World: Why Learning Digital Skills Matters for Today’s Students Education in the twenty-first century is no longer confined to textbooks, classrooms and examinations. The world in which students live, study and eventually work is increasingly digital, interconnected and technology-driven . As a result, students need more than subject knowledge. They need the ability to use technology creatively, responsibly and effectively. Digital skills have therefore become an essential part of modern education. They help students communicate ideas, create content, conduct research, collaborate with others, solve problems and prepare for future careers .
