Abstract:

in this research paper I have tried to find out the pros and cons of online learning. In this corner pandemic e learning came up as a boon for teachers as well as students. There are so many benefits of online teaching but that doesn't mean there are no disadvantages of it. In this paper I have tried to point out major advantages and disadvantages of e learning.

Keywords:

e learning, advantages and the disadvantages, ICT tools

Introduction:

e learning is a learning system based on formalized teaching but with the help of electronic resources while teaching can be best in or out of the classrooms with the use of computers and the internet forms of major component of e-Learning this learning can also be termed as a network enabled transferred skills and knowledge and the delivery of education is made to a large number of recipients at the same or different times it was not accepted wall heartily as it was assumed that this system let the human animal required in higher learning but the current pandemic give a boost to e learning.

thanks to technology e learning is now made possible many students worldwide can now access all kinds of courses online without leaving the comfort of their loans they are given opportunities to learn from component educator's and interact with other students from different locations but just like in person learning learning also has its share of advantages and disadvantages that take a look at some of them.

  1. Save time and money

one of the most obvious advantages of e-Learning is that you can save time and money you can manage your schedule and take online courses at your most convenient time whether early in the morning the late afternoon or evening you save money to because you don't have to pay for transportation or worry about eating on the go.

  1. Better retention

E learning makes use of different platforms like Google Meet, Webbex, Zoom, which provides interactive content also you can share your thoughts and opinions with others the more engaging the lessons the most students can remember the information.

  1. Personalized learning

you can choose your learning path and study at your own pace you became more motivated and invested in the course.

  1. Cost effective

student around the only ones that can save money in England menu educational institutes save money through this set up because there is no need to use a physical classroom which translates to reduce more monetary spending.

  1. Environment friendly

he learning is also more environmentally friendly because it doesn't contribute to the pollution brought about by paper production. In online learning all we need is some laptop tablets for mobile phones nothing else no papers at all.

Disadvantages of e learning

  1. Lakes social interaction

e learning is one of the causes of social isolation because you don't see your teachers and classmates face-to-face anymore interaction is very limited to one sometimes it leads to lack of interest and boredom also.

  1. Inaccessible to others

e learning includes assessment just like in a regular classroom setting however there are no teachers or protectors to watch over you during exams it's easy for online student to share answers knowing there are nobody watching so there is a greater risk of cheating.

  1. Requires self-motivation and proper time management skills

you are basically on your own in learning you have to motivate yourself to study hard takedown notice and get the more information you should also manage your time well by learning how to juggle studying while doing other things like household course or earning money part time.

How to make online learning more engaging?

online teaching is taking off but for teachers who are used to the classroom teaching from home can be an adjustment connected via webcam isn't always easy it takes creativity to keep their brain stimulated. One must find that he or she needs a completely different teaching skills online then he or she would be in person. with most students taking online lessons outside the regular school hours and at home keeping them engage motivated and interested in the lessons can be one of the biggest challenges online teachers face.

  • Break down the lessons and make it digestible as a general rule is a good idea to keep a fast pack and breakdown information into small easily digestible chunks in practical terms this means to steer clear online the explanations and slides with too much text mixing up the tempo of your lessons by adding a variety of activity type is also a great way to make the time fly by for your students one can also write a lesson plans for the online classroom with free lesson planner like plan board and for online English teachers there are plenty of free resources out there to get you started.

  • adapt in class activities to the virtual classroom in a face-to-face class it's difficult to give students some quiet reflection time to work alone or read a text but this kind of activities don't translate well in online classrooms long dance steps are challenging to read on a screen and silence just doesn't translate that well in virtual classrooms it provides the perfect excuse for students attentions to drift elsewhere.

  • for students studying in online classrooms isolation can be a huge factor in making them feel demotivated they might think that no one will notice aur care if they miss a class or find it all to tempting to not login to the classroom if they are feeling tired the best way is to give regular feedback on students work in to be positive encouraging presence.

Confusion:

it is clear that this pandemic has now disrupted education system that many assert was already losing its relevance in his book 21st lessons for the 21st century scholar Yuval Noah Harari outlines how schools continues to focus on traditional academic skills and rote learning rather than on skills such as critical thinking and adaptability which will be more important for success in future could be moved to online learning be the catalyst to create a new more effective method of educating students while some were that the faster nature of the transition online may have ended this goal others plan to make e learning part of the new normal after experiencing the benefits first hand. which is sudden shift away from the classroom in many parts of the globe some are wondering whether the adaptation of online learning will continue to persist post pandemic and how such a shift would impact the world wide education market one research suggests that online learning has been shown to increase retention of information and take less time meaning the changes coronavirus have caused might be here to stay.in this time of Karan and online education has been becoming a new normal it happens because we left without no option traditional classroom teaching learning process since not possible due to having precautions regarding coronavirus but will it remain the same will the online education remain the same even after the word be the normal as early as it was in that matter there is no doubt that many countries are very advanced in technology and using it since long but while discussing about concept of online education in India it remains the debatable question.

Paper: 11.The postcolonial literature

Abstract:

In this paper I have tried to compare Shakespeare's Tempest, a Tempest by Aime Cesaire and the Tempest by Niel Gaiman. Shakespeare's the Tempest with both tragic and comic themes. While a Tempest is a Post colonial play and The Tempest is a graphic novel.

Keywords:

the Tempest, Shakespeare, Aime Cesaire, postcolonialism and Graphic novel

Introduction:

the Tempest is a play by William Shakespeare probably be written in 16 10 to 16 11 and thought to be one of the last place that Shakespeare brought along after the first in which takes place on a ship at sea during the Tempest the rest of the story is set on remote Island where the sources are Prospero a complex and contradictory character lives with his daughter Miranda and his two servers Caliban savage monster figure and Ariel and Eric spirit the play contains music and song that gives you the speed of enhancement on the island it explores many things including magic betrayal revenge and family.

A Tempest is an adaptation of Shakespeare's the Tempest from a postcolonial perspective .Aime Cesaire uses all of the characters from Shakespeare's version but it specifies that Prospero is a bright master while Ariel is a mileto and kelvin is a black slave these characters are the focus of the play as foregrounds issues of race power and decolonization area land Caliban react differently to the situation Caliban favors evolution over areas nonviolence and reject his name as imposition of prosperous colonizing language desiring to be called x at the end of the play Prospero grants a real freedom but retains control of the island and of Caliban this is a notable departure from Shakespeare's version in which prosper release the island with his daughter and the man who were there at the beginning of the play.

The Tempest by Neil Gaiman,it is the final tale of the comic book series of Neil Gaiman called sandman in this final book of sandman more years collect the last part of the death onto him by William Shakespeare with a dramatic introduced on a mysterious Island along with monsters spirit god made us appreciations this medication that please not only with the creative process and the telling of stories but also with the nature of fact and fiction reality and illusion the center provides an informative example of the uses and effects of metafiction that is all of internet not only to students of literature but also accessible to general readers.

Research objectives

to gain more information about Shakespeare's the Tempest,

to see how comic books can be dip and useful for each and every literary or non literary readers.

Research questions.

Comic books can be also Deep?

is it a best way to attract people towards good content?

can you be considered as the best way to attract not only the literary student were also a general readers towards good content?

Research methodology:

the study is narrative research and follows descriptive come analytic method the textual references are given as evidence to support the argument of this research .

Literary review:

Who thought that Shakespeare's the Tempest has a deep roots of colonialism. It was Aime Cesaire who point out colonial elements from Shakespeare's The Tempest. Aime Cesaire Transformers the characters and transposes the scenes is to reveal Shakespeare's Prospero as the explorer European power and Caliban and area is the exploited natives scissors a Tempest is an effective response to Shakespeare's the Tempest because he interpret it from the perspective of the colonies and raises a conflict which appears  as an icon of the literary canon which size that in the Tempest by William Shakespeare one might argue that colonialism is a recurring theme throughout the play because of the slave master relationship between real and Caliban and Prospero. While Neil Gaiman give an completely different and interesting picture of Shakespeare's the Tempest in his last series of sandman comic.

Postcolonialism:

postcolonialism is the historical period or state of affairs representing the aftermath of Western colonialism the term can also be used to describe the project to reclaim enriching the history and agency of people subordinated under various form of imperialism and colonialism signals a possible future of overcoming colonialism get new form of a domination of subordination can come in the wake of such sensors including new forms of global Empire should not be confused with the claim that the world we live in now is actually divide of colonialism.

Comparison of the Tempest a Tempest and the Tempest:

a Tempest is a postcolonial revision of William Shakespeare's the Tempest and draws heavily on the original play the cast of characters is for the most part the same and the foundation of plot follows the same basic team Isis Prospero has been exiled and leaves honor Island and he drums up a violent storm to drive his daughter ship short the island however is somewhere in the Caribbean Ariel is a mulatto  slave rather than a spirit and kelvin is a black slave Tempest focuses on the pledge of Ariel and Kelly ban the never-ending request request to gain freedom from Prospero and his rule over the island real beautiful to prosper of for orders gives to him and sincerely believe that Prospero will honor his promise of emancipation Caribbean on the other hand slide Prospero at every opportunity upon entertaining the first act caliban and greets Prospero by saying who drew the Swahili word for freedom Prospero complaints that can often speak in his native language which Prospero has forbidden this from Sandman to attempt to claim brightest to the island angering Prospero would suggest to wimp Caliban. The Comic A Tempest by Neil Gaiman, surrounds the text of the Tempest with metafiction that replicate supplies motives themes and specify sensors in so doing it comments on the small amount we know about Shakespeare's life and Rose parallels between the author its title character Morpheus and even game and as the comic creator.as medication that is not only with creative process and the telling of stories but also with the nature of fact and fiction reality and evolution the send Monroe as an informative example of the uses and effects of medication that is of interest not only to students of literature but was accessible to general traders.

In Niel Gaiman's Tempest, characters are changed, such as instead of Miranda Gaiman uses the name Judith for the daughter ,and instead of Prospero Gaiman uses the name Shakespeare. All other things are changed, completely changed. From both of the versions. Here Shakespeare is shown as the character. The writer himself.

Conclusion:

who thought that Shakespeare's the Tempest can be transformed in a comic book or even in an postcolonial play. comics have always been regarded as some kind of pulp the kind of work that attracts male adolescence fanboys of stand exclude superheroes and their sanity test female counterparts the winners have been changing a major factor in this change has been Neil Gaiman Siri of all series of short stories the sandman. this series features stories of a more psychological and eatery kind and its popularity cause the establishment of a new brand of comic a branch of the famous DC comics which goes under the name vertigo but eco imprints produces comics that are main to also attract and audience and familiar with comic books opening of the genre and showing its virtues to the outside world .the Tempest which also happens to be the last straw story of the entire series in the stories game in place with several popular notions that have been attached to Shakespeare and his work over the years such as the notion of cracks appear as a character and how he may or may not be found in his own works . Neil Gaiman's comic book is the best example that comic books can also be logical and It is not only for entertainment.

Abstract:

In this research paper I have tried to point out are women's Liberty really matter even in the 21st century with reference to The scarlet letter written by Nathaniel Hawthorne.

Keywords: feminism, The scarlet letter puritan society ,21st century.

Introduction:

Nathaniel Hawthorne American novelist and short story writer who was a master of the allegorical and symbolic tale one of the greatest fiction writers in American literature he is best known for the scarlet letter and the house of the seven gables.in college Hawthorne had accepted only in composition and had determined to become a brighter upon graduation he had written and a Sagittarius novel and shave which he published at his own expense only to decide that it was unworthy of him and try to destroy all copies Hawthorne however soon found his own voice style and subjects and within five years of his graduation he had published such impressive and distinctive stories as the hollow of the three hills and old woman .

Research objectives

Research objectives of the study are as follow

To know about the puritan age

To know about the situation of women in puritan society.

To know about how things change or not even in the 21st century for women.

Research questions:

What is feminism?

Is the real liberation of women possible?

Are today's women the Modern Hester?

Research methodology:

The study is narrative research and follows a descriptive come analytic method the textual references are given as evidence to support the argument of this research the key concept of feminism is used in this research.

Literary review of The scarlet letter:

The scarlet letter novel by Nathaniel Hawthorne published in 1850 it is considered a masterpiece of American literature and the classics moral study. the novel is set in a village in Britain New England the main character is has to print a young woman who has to born a child out of wedlock establish herself a widow but her husband Roger Chillingworth arrives in New England very much alive and considers his identity he finds his wife forced to wear the scarlet letter a on her dress as punishment for adultery after is the refuses to name her lover Chillingworth becomes obsessed with finding his identity when he learns that the main in question is Arthur Dimmesdale ,a saintly young minister who is the leader of those exhorting her name the child's father chilling with process to terminate him strike on by guilt that becomes increasingly ill has taught herself is revealed to be a self-reliant heroine who is never truly repentant for committing adultery with the minister she feels that the act was consecrated by their deep love for each other. although she is initially second overtime her compassion and dignity silence many of her critics.

in the end Chillingworth is morally degraded by his monomaniacal pursuit of Revenge in cell is broken by his own sense of guilt and he publicly confesses his adultery before dying in her sisters arms only has done can face the future bravely as she prepares to begin a new life with her daughter Paul in Europe years later hassle returns to New England where she can use to wear the scarlet letter after her that she is buried next Dimmesdale and their joint term stone is inscribed with on a field Sable the letter A, Gules.

Feminism:

feminism the belief in social economic and political equality of the sexes all the largely organized originating in the West Indies amine is manifested worldwide and is presented by various institutions committed to activity on behalf of women's rights and interest.

throughout most of Western history women were confined to the domestics fear while public life was reserved for men in mediaeval Europe women were denied the right to own property to study or to participate in public life at the end of the 19th century in France they were still compelled to cover their heads in public and in parts of Germany husband still have the right to sell his wife even as late as the early 20th century women could neither vote 9 hold elective office in Europe and in the most of the United States women were prevented from conduct in business without a male representative beat father brother husband legal agent or even son married women could not exercise control over their own children without the permission of the husband's moreover women had little or no access to education and where bed from most professions in some parts of the world such restrictions on women continue today.

Feminism in India

feminism in India is a set of movements and a defining establishing and defending equal political and economic rights for women in India it is the percent of women's rights within the society of India like their families counterparts all over the world famous in India 6 gender equality the right to work for equal wages the right to equal access to health and education and equal political rights Indian 7 is also have fought against cultural specific issues within Indian patriarchal society such at inheritance laws the history of feminism in India can be divided into three faces the first phase beginning in the mid 19th century initiated when reformist begin to speak in favor of women rights by making reforms in education custom involving women II phase from 1952 Indian independence when Gandhi incorporated women's movement into the quit India movement and independent women's organization begin to emerge and finally the 3rd phase of independence which has focused on fair treatment of women at home after marriage the workplace and write to political party. despite the progress made by Indian feminist movements women living in modern India still face many issues of discrimination India's patriarchal culture has made the process of gaining land ownership rights and access to education challenging in the past two decades there has also image a trend of sex selective abortion to Indian feminist this are seen as injustice is worth struggling against.

Does women's Liberty really matter even in the 21st century?

it is common to hear the word feminism in the course of your usual dining table conversation and newsroom debates this word is one of the most VC used and MS apprehended word of all time what exactly does feminism mean is it a war against man does it can include placing women above men?

Why is feminism so crucial for a country like India?

India needs feminism because a woman should not be considered a responsibility of a malethroughout her life whether it be her father brother husband your son practices like kanyadan raksha Bandhan and the purdah system where a woman is wild behind a ghunghat highlight the extent of male dominance this practice is emphasizes that strong capable men have to protect the week project women and that women around designed to protect but to be protected. Every year two lakh girls are killed even before they can step into this world and thousands of women died due to harassment even in 21st century. still in many Indian households males and females are treated differently education as well as nutrition for boys is private eyes while that of the girls is neglected women in many Indian families it last and list after serving all the other family members this discrimination is selected in statics is raised by the government by states that almost 50% to of teenage Indian girls are underweight and 52% are anaemic.

The most important thing is employment for women, a woman is treated with disdain whether she is employed or not a certain section of our society believes that it is an offence if a woman is a well educated and working to support herself or her family financially and others so for many exception of our society believes that becoming a housewife would contribute little to women's empowerment women who chooses to raise their children full-time our continuing their career are criticized but what is vital is to realize that just because a woman is isn't earning doesn't mean her work is less important some research also points out how being a house maker is equivalent to working 2.5 jobs so profession shouldn't be made the important based on the amount of money it was but on the amount of value holds.

working women in India on only 66% of what their male counterparts on for the same amount of work this gender pay gap and disparity in opportunities discourage women from performing well in the professional domain. a report suggests that India would be 27% teacher if their employment rates of women the glass ceiling effect is present in India which means that there is an invisible barrier that prevents women from rising to higher ranks in cooperation in India females make up only 11.2% of board members in films which is less than the global average we can see the same trade in the newly elected seventh Lok Sabha where only 14% of the members are women.

Conclusion:

Though thousands of people who feel we have already arrived at equality for men and women, there are thousands of people who believes we are not at all there yet and support continuing efforts to pave the way for equal rights for men and women there are thousands who believe in equal rights but find feminism a word and a movement that doesn't align with their personal beliefs or values. many people hear that feminism will mean that men will eventually lose out of power influence impact authority and control and economic opportunities many people also believes that families want to control the word and put man down many people fear the same in ISM will Orton time-honored traditions religious beliefs and established gender roles and that feels scary and ROM many people feared that feminism will bring about negative ships in relationships marriage society culture power and authority dynamics and in business job and economic opportunities if and when women are on an equal footing with men.

Topic :waiting in waiting for Godot

Abstract:

waiting for Godot is a play by Samuel Beckett in which two characters Vladimir and estragon engages in a variety of discussions and encounters while awaiting order who never arrives waiting for got old is packets translation of his own original French language play En Attendant Godot and is subtitled in English only a tragicomedy in two acts the original French text was composed between 9 October 1948 and 29th January 1949.

With the use of the theory of existentialism I have tried to point out the importance of waiting in the play waiting for Godot.

Keywords: existentialism, Jean Paul sartre, waiting.

Introduction:

Samuel Beckett was born in Ireland in 1906 on Friday the 13th which was good Friday so he was clearly disturbed for great things as well as slightly creepy things he is most famous now for his place particularly waiting for godot which was first performed in 1953 he also wrote process actually he started out writing process.he is a writer which kind of on the letter and of modernism and write up into postmodernism thurs traders that Boda a little bit. bakers audio synthetic work offers oblique tragicomic outlook on existence and experience of an coupled with black comedy nonsense and gallows humour it became increasingly minimalistic in his later career involving more aesthetical and linguistic experimentation he is considered one of the last modernist writers and one of the key figures in what Martin esslin called the theatre of absurd his best-known work is his play 1953 play waiting for godot.

Research objectives:

the research objectives of the study are as follow:

To get a multidimensional view of the theme waiting.

It is an honest attempt to break the universal phenomena that waiting is always baseless and meaningless.

 Research questions:

Is waiting good or bad?

Why is waiting more important than Godot?

Research methodology:

The study is narrative research and follows descriptive come analytic method.the textual references are given as evidence to support the argument of this research. The key concept of existentialism: nothingness waiting discussed in relation to the text in this research.

Literature review:

the play consists of conversation between bloody Mary and astagaon who are waiting for the arrival of the mysterious God ought to continuously stands word that he will appear but would never does they encounter lucky and pozzo they discuss their mysteries and their long lost in life they consider hanging themselves and yet they wait often perceived as being trans bloody Mary and estragon are a pair of human beings who do not know why they were put on earth they make the ten years assumption that there must be some point to their existence and they look to God of for enlightenment because they hold out hope for meaning and direction they acquire a kind of nobility that enables them to rise above the futile existence.

the first step towards engaging with the play is accepting that it wouldn't supply solution to its mysteries the critic using scanner wrote that all packets works can be grasped as a wall if you are willing to let the pages of darkness fall where they do and not worry at them we shall not find out who got is and shell waste our time trying go to its purpose in the play is to be that which is awaited for and that is that when it comes to who is doing the waiting we know more Vladimir and estragon for didi and Gogo at rhymes that meet each day by a solitary tree to wait for a man called God bloody Mary and in infective man of the word and the marvellously incompetent estragon have been compared to loreal and Hardy and they are indeed essentially a comedy double act transplanted into a tragedy in English language edition bakit code the play a tragicomedy in 2x and his biographer entally chron in points out that one of its most notable characteristic is his ability to make truly funny jokes about the genuinely worst aspects of human existence and nowhere in this tell and more evident than in Godot.

 Existentialism:

Like nationalism and empiricism existentialism is a term that belongs to intellectual history its definition is does to some extent one of historical convenience the term was explicitly adopted as a self description by Jean Paul sartre and through the why did dissemination of the post war literary and philosophical output of Saturday and his associates most notably Simon De Behaviour, Maurice Meleraue Ponty, and Albert Camus.existentialism became identified with the cultural movement that flourished in Europe in the 1940 to 1950 among the major philosophers and identified as existentialists , Karl Jesper, Martin Heidegger.

existentialism therefore may be defined as the philosophical theory which holds that of for the set of categories governed by the norm of authenticity is necessary to grasp the human existence to approach existentialism in the scatter logical way may seem to conceal what is often taken to be its heart namely its character as a gesture of protest against academic philosophy its entire system sensibility its flight from the iron cage of reason but while it is true that the major existentialist philosophers fraught with a passion and urgency rather uncommon in our own time and while the idea that philosophy cannot be practiced in the disinterested manner of an objective science is indeed Central to exist on socialism it is equally true that all the themes popularly associated with existing shall ISM dread boredom alienation the absurd freedom commitment nothingness and so on find their philosophical significance in the context of the search for a new category framework together with its governing norm.

Waiting in waiting for Godot:

The research tries to interpret Samuel Beckett play waiting for godot from an existentialist perspective and tries to point out the importance of waiting in waiting for godot.

Whatever happens do not let waiting become procrastination.

Neeraj Agnihotri Procrasdamon - The artist's guide to liberation from procrastination.

Imagine if someone tells you that wait for me , I'll come soon. We waited for one hour, two hour, four,five,ten,24 hours but when the person didn't arrive how do you feel? You wasted your time on waiting, nothing else, Time is money, but you wasted it. While waiting you were so anxious,so curious to meet the person. You wanted your time, while you were waiting how many works you have completed?None..zero.

The same thing happened with Vladimir and Estragon. Bekat talks about what is our role in the space of time? how we use our time? the characters of waiting for godot Vladimir and estragon live with all this regret of time the life of this character is summed up in this question of packet there is no escape from time however much they seek to leave this conferment they become imprisoned to it.we observed that Ladi mere lagana victim of this time and waiting. Which leads the characters to expect a good thought that never arrives: goat is the time Omnipresent in the spectrum as an idea these characters try to do something or nothing and describe the passing of time as a form of waiting or living experience of the temporal God.

Positive aspects of waiting:

We can use our time wisely while waiting,

And for that one must cultivate the habit of rational and practical mind.

Negative aspects of waiting:

It leads to anxiety, stress, anger, sadness, Suicide.
