A warm welcome to my blog. Today i am going to write about Arundhati Roy.I am writing this blog on the grounds of a task given by Dr. Dilip Barad Sir, to know more about the task CLICK HERE.
After reading ARUNDHATI ROY's GOD OF SMALL THINGS and THE MINISTRY OF UTMOST HAPPINESS.In God Of Small Things she wrote about dirty politics, sexual abuse of children and cast system, untouchability. It is a great novel which tells about the true face of society. If we look around us we find that all this things are still here in our society , the Una Dalit kand , now and then we read about how a girl or a boy is sexually abused by school bus driver or by uncle or aunt and so on. In her The Ministry Of Utmost Happiness she talked about HIJARRA the third gender ,she also talked about Godhara Kand , she also satires on the politicians.
According to me as a writer Arundhati Roy is a rebellion . It needs guts to write about social issues and especially to speak against government.I feel surprised that how she is still surviving in India because we all know that what happens if someone goes against the government.
